Is there a better start to the week than spending a Monday morning surrounded by beautiful, hand made things, in a trendy cafe, chatting with incredible, creative people?
No, there isn’t. I know. I was there.
“L O I S started out in 2013 as a small, independent bricks and mortar shop in Peckham selling a range of products made exclusively in the UK by independent designer-makers. From a desire to be more actively involved in the creative process behind the products we sell and the stories behind those products, we closed the Peckham shop and relaunched as an online shop and creative resource.”
L O I S Online is jam packed with beautiful goods (many of which are exclusives), details of upcoming workshops, and even films of the maker processes so you can see exactly how your new swag was made.
Cafe Viva was also filled with hugely inspiring people, and I feel very lucky to have been able to chat to the makers of the incredible goodies for sale.
And, of course, it wouldn’t have been the same without the official L O I S tour guide (guarding delicious dainty cakes from Fiendish & Goode).
It was a lovely morning, thank you so much to Helen for inviting me along! As for the rest of you, get over to the site now and start shopping!
